Better-controlled project information

Project information that stays useful

Keep house types, plots, revisions, decisions and completion evidence connected through the work.

Control the record through change

The team needs to know which information is current, where it applies and who needs to act. That is the purpose of a controlled digital workflow.

A repeated house type can sit across several phases, orientations and specification revisions. Briary structures the relevant information so a calculation, change or photograph remains attributable to the correct part of the development. The workflow is agreed around the project’s scale and existing document arrangements.

What the information needs to show

A stable reference

Identify the building, type, plot, assessment and drawing revision consistently. Reusable details need an applicability record so a later team can see where the assessed information belongs.

A visible decision

Separate confirmed inputs, assumptions and unanswered questions. Record the proposed change, affected assessments and the person responsible for the next action.

An evidence status

Connect test results, product confirmations, photographs and commissioning records to the commissioned completion outputs. A file being present does not establish that it is complete or relevant.

A controlled handover

Issue reports and supporting information with an understandable revision and status. Where a shared workspace is used, agree access and responsibilities within the commission.
